What it is and is not
Decking off, framing inspected and any bad stringers replaced, then new boards and new fasteners. If the pilings and the frame are good this is the whole job.

Pressure-treated, hardwood and composite all fit the same frame and last different lengths of time in salt air and sun.

New dock
Draw it out over the water and pick a width. Priced by the square foot of deck.
Dock repair
Stringers, bracing and hardware put right where the deck has gone soft.
Seawall
Draw the shoreline. Priced by the foot — a seawall has no width.
Boat lift
Sized to the boat, not to the dock. Priced as an installed unit.
Davits
For a small boat or a jet ski where a full lift is more than you need.
Pilings
